How Pewaukee City Government WorksThe City of Pewaukee offers a similar range of services as do most municipalities in the State of Wisconsin. The City is governed under a Mayor/Council format, with the Mayor elected for a 3-year term. The Mayor serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the City. The Common Council consists of six Alderman, with two elected from each of the three districts. Aldermen are elected to 3-year term, with the individual aldermen in each district serving staggered terms.
