Green Road Reconstruction Project
The City of Pewaukee is considering the reconstruction of the Green Road in two phases. The first phase is the easterly leg of Green Road from the Redford Boulevard (STH 74) Ramp to Springdale Road (CTH SR) in 2011. The second phase is the westerly leg of Green Road from Redford Boulevard (STH 74) Ramp to Pewaukee Road (STH 164) in 2012.
The initial survey data has been obtained along the corridor. The City is determining what improvements will occur for the project. The City is also discussing if a multi-use path or sidewalk will be installed as part of the project to accommodate the foot traffic present on the road. A public informational meeting will be held along the corridor to solicit feedback from the residents along the route.
This project is anticipated to start on the east leg in Spring 2011 pursuant to funding allocations.
This project is an assessable project. All properties affected by the assessments will receive a notice prior to awarding of the construction contract. In accordance with City policy, assessments for residential properties are capped and may be paid over a 10-year period with interest.
