Recycling Information

The County recycling program has announced that beginning August 30th, they will begin accepting Paper Beverage Cartons for recycling. This effort is part of a national push on the part of carton manufacturers to implement municipal recycling programs in partnership with paper mills and Materials Recycling Facilities. These milk, juice, soup, and wine cartons, must be empty and placed in the blue recycling bins along with bottles and cans. Lids should be removed and thrown away. This information will also be published in newspaper ads, press releases, articles, and a new Household Recycling Guide. We will post the a link to the new Recycking Guide when available.
