All-Inclusive Playground & Splash Pad
We are currently fundraising with the Friends of Pewaukee Parks towards an all-inclusive playground and splash pad. As we have updates on this project, we will share them here and on the Friends page. Be sure to check out the video link and photos below to view our first renderings!
HELP! WE NEED DONATIONS! We are over the halfway point on fundraising as we just passed $1.1M on our way to $2M. While we are applying for grants, conducting fundraisers, we do still need donations. If you are able, please consider making your tax deductible donation on our Go Fund Me page. Interested in a larger donation that includes naming rights for different amenities at this park? Check out other opportunities here. The chart below relates to donor recognition for the park.

Hi-Res Photos below with descriptions. Soft surfacing throughout our play area is ADA compliant and welcoming. We designed this playground and splash with the intention of making EVERYONE feel welcome. Our theme touches on Pewaukee and Lake Country with woods and water, trees and leaves, sand, dirt and cattails. We have safety fencing in place only allowing a few entry/exit points.
Our splash pad theme includes water and boats. Additional sensory stimulation opportunities with the splash pad and spray areas. Notice playground area in the rear of first image.
Age 2-5 playground area with blue surfacing and age appropriate opportunities.
Ramp systems allowing ALL individuals to travel from end to end of the play structure. Tan base surfacing indicates the age 5-12 playground area. Surface color changes indicate play area changes identifying optical stimulation that 'change is coming, be aware.'
'Roller' style slide that reduces static making it OK for use for those with cochlear implants.
Quiet Grove - a cozy retreat area to escape the hustle. This area offers a peaceful space for children who become overstimulated on the playground allowing an area to refocus and relax. This area can reduce sights, sounds and even smells that become overwhelming. There are calming sensory items on the interior of the Quiet Grove allowing for repetitive diversions.
Inclusive and tot swings.
Flush mounted merry-go-round allowing wheelchair access.
