EXPERT-LED SPRING WORKSHOPS OFFER A JUMP START INTO SPRING GARDENING

(Waukesha, WI) – Waukesha County and Johnson’s Nursery, Inc. invite residents and visitors to a series of workshops dedicated to popular springtime topics on Saturday, March 12 from 9 a.m. to noon at Retzer Nature Center. Attendees can learn about soils, native plants and worms from local subject matter experts. Retzer Nature Center is located at S14 W28167 Madison St. in Waukesha.
“Spring Workshop Day has sessions that are ideal for learning in-depth information to help you garden successfully this spring,” said Janet Barthel, Nature Center Supervisor. “Join us for one or all sessions and learn some of the latest new practices for home gardens and lawns.”
Each seminar will be led by a local professional and will cover a range of information on the topics. Recommended for ages 15 and up. Detailed workshop schedule available below.

Earthworms are global travelers and lead exciting lives underground. Learn how

even seeing them.
