Effective May 7, 2024, the City of Pewaukee Recycling Center
will no longer accept used automotive oil, oil filters or antifreeze.
Wisconsin law requires retailers that sell automotive oil to either accept household “do-it-yourself” used oil or post a sign at the location of sale indicating the location and hours of operation of the nearest used oil collection center.
Below are a few waste oil drop-off options in or near the City of Pewaukee. Please contact the retailer ahead of time for further information; not all locations that accept oil will accept oil filters.
Please help to protect our environment by using the proper precautions when handling and disposing of these products (e.g., never pour oil down drains or sewers).
