The Assessment Department has hired four Photographers for the summer of 2020 to update all digital photos within the City of Pewaukee. The last time the entire picture database was updated was 22 years ago in the summer of 1998. It is time to update our database at this time. Our goal is to photograph a new updated exterior from the front/right-of-way and from the rear of the structure/home and any ancillary buildings on the property.
Each Photographer will be wearing an ID Badge identifying them as an Employee of The City of Pewaukee as well as public relation materials for property owners and will be following strict procedures.
All photography taken of residential properties will be after a ring of the door bell and/or a knock on the door. Property owners have the right to refuse access to their property but keep in mind a new updated photo WILL be taken from the right-of-way. Photographers will never enter any rear yards that are fenced.
The new photographs are a critical tool that assist the Assessor’s staff in properly valuing your property.
