Boater Safety
ages 11+ years

The WI DNR course is open to all individuals 11 years old (age by first class) and older.  Students will learn the laws of boating, how to operate a boat, and distinguish certain parts and different types of water crafts.  After passing the test on the last day of the course, students will be able to operate all motorized water vehicles with adult permission.  

Students are required to obtain their customer identification number which can be found on the DNR website.  Please bring this number with you to the first class.  

Max. 24 per class

Session 1: Monday-Thursday, May 13-16
Time: 6:00-9:00 pm
Location: Pewaukee Village Hall 235 Hickory Street

Session 2: Monday-Thursday, June 24-27
Time: 1:00-4:00 pm
Location: CenterPoint Boat Services 400 Sussex Street

Fee: $10 cash at first class
